Off The Tracks - Graffiti jam under the bridge

Graffiti Jam Under the Bridge was een streetart-evenement dat plaatsvond op 17 en 18 juni 2023 in de oude spoorwegtunnel in As. Tijdens dit weekend beschilderden meerdere Belgische en internationale graffiti- en street art kunstenaars zoals Dvate, Norm, Pout Spencer, The Nasty Sons, Defo en TUZQ in opdracht van SAGA de zijwanden van de tunnel, waardoor deze werd omgevormd tot een vrij toegankelijke openluchtgalerij.

Het evenement sloot aan bij het bredere Off the Tracks-project op de voormalige stationssite van As, waar in 2023 ook oude treinstellen door bekende graffiti-artiesten werden beschilderd.

Graffiti Jam Under the Bridge was a street art event that took place on 17 and 18 June 2023 in the old railway tunnel in As. Over this weekend, several Belgian and international graffiti and street art artists, including Dvate, Norm, Pout Spencer, The Nasty Sons, Defo and TUZQ, were commissioned by SAGA to paint the tunnel’s side walls, transforming it into a freely accessible open-air gallery.

The event formed part of the wider ‘Off the Tracks’ project at the former As railway station site, where, in 2023, old train carriages were also painted by well-known graffiti artists.
