Quirindi Silo Art

Launched with a sound and light show on 27 January 2023, the art on the silo tells the story of the past, present and future of the Liverpool Plains region. In the Kamilaroi language, the town's namesake translates to 'Nest in the Hills', and also narrates the agricultural story of the area.

This artwork was awarded gold in the 'Best Mega Mural' category in the 2023 Australian Street Art Awards. Its grandeur continues during the evening as it is brought to life at night with Illuminart, and also credited as the 'Best of the Best'.
