Jurassic Band

Artist

This mural, which represents a trio of dinosaurs forming a band (with drums, keyboard and singer T-Rex), is signed with the name Loretto, an urban artist based in London. Loretto is known for his satirical style and his use of humorous or ironic images captured with templates and spray .

Title of the mural

There does not seem to be an official publicly released title for this piece. Because of its theme, it could provisionally be called "Jurassic Band" or "Jurassic Band - by Loretto", also inspired by the text "JURASSIC BAND" on the drum.

Description of the mural

• Three dinosaurs predominate in black and white: one playing the piano (left), another on the drums (center) with the "JURASSIC BAND" logo on the patch, and a T-Rex on the microphone (right), equipped with glasses or sunglasses.

• A pterosaur (or flying reptile) also appears with a guitar, flying on top of the battery.

• The work is painted on an urban wall and combines multiple panels (with blocks of color and texture), giving it a dynamic and fragmented appearance.

• The style is humorous and creative, typical of Loretto's work, who often uses animals or popular figures to make playful comments, although this piece seems to focus more on visual entertainment than on direct social criticism.
