Description

Located on the back of Flip, facing towards Railway Road.

Created for the Street Prints Manaia festival 2019, whose theme was "Tuia te muka Tangata" which means "weaving the threads of humanity".

There is little information available for this piece of work but the artists are renown for weaving local mythology and symbolism into their work. The Kereru (wood pigeon) are symbolic of guardianship, forewarning, grief and awareness for Maori.
