The mural symbolizes the history of the local furniture industry

Malaysia ranks 8th in furniture exports in the world and 3rd in Asia. Muar is a major center of the furniture industry in Malaysia. Therefore, the largest mural in Malaysia, "The Roots of World Furniture", is a symbol of the history of Muar's furniture industry and its contribution to the country.

Sponsored by the Muar Furniture Association, the "Roots of World Furniture" mural painted by 4 painters from home and abroad has been completed after 11 days! The mural is displayed on the curved wall of Muar Kairong Plaza, which is very eye-catching and adds a lot of color to the city of Muar!

After the mural was completed, the Muar Furniture Association applied for the Malaysia Book of Records. The association hopes that through the "Roots of World Furniture" mural, the next generation can understand the origin and development of the Muar furniture industry, and at the same time pass on this industry and promote it around the world!

The artists are Canadian Emmanuel Jarus, British Gabriel Pitcher, Canadian Jason Penny and local Xu Huishan. The lotus in the painting symbolizes unity, while the old carpenter and sculptor symbolize the working mode of the traditional furniture industry.
