Klaus Paier painted this picture in August 1990. The city of Cologne had it painted over twice because it was always created without permission. The residents were outraged and the district group “Antifasciistische Südstadt” renewed the mural in March and October 1993. But since it was repeatedly affected by vandalism, it was removed in August Illegally restored in 2019 by the veterans of the anti-fascists. The bunker is in Cologne, at Elsassstrasse 59-61.The bunker picture is intended to remind us that on March 3, 1933, a few weeks after the Nazis came to power, SA troops marched through the Alsace Street for the first time, which was considered a communist stronghold. The residents threw flower pots, bottles, garbage cans and other objects at the Nazis from their windows. The police at the time then opened fire and arrested 70 people. Klaus Paier, the "Aachen mural painter" is the pioneer of German street art and has painted around 80 large murals in Aachen, of which only 5 are still preserved and 3 of which are listed buildings. Klaus Paier died in Cologne in 2009. 

Klaus Paier hat dieses Bild im August 1990 gemalt. Die Stadt Köln ließ es zweimal übertünchen, weil es stets ohne Genehmigung entstand, darüber waren die Anwohner empört und die Stadtteilgruppe „Antifaschistische Südstadt“ erneuerte das Wandbild im März und Oktober 1993. Da es aber immer wieder von Vandalismus betroffen war, wurde es im August 2019 von den Veteranen/innen der Antifaschisten illegal restauriert. Der Bunker steht in Köln, in der Elsassstraße 59-61.
 Das Bunkerbild soll daran erinnern, dass am 03.03.1933, wenige Wochen nach der Machtübernahme der Nazis, SA-Trupps erstmals durch die Elsassstraße marschierten, die als Hochburg der Kommunisten galt. Die Bewohner bewarfen die Nazis aus den Fenstern mit Blumentöpfen, Flaschen, Mülltonnen und anderen Gegenständen. Die damalige Schutzpolizei eröffnete daraufhin das Feuer und nahm 70 Personen fest. Klaus Paier, der "Aachener Wandmaler" ist der Pionier der deutschen Street Art und hat in Aachen ca. 80 große Murals gemalt, von denen nur noch 5 erhalten sind und davon 3 unter Denkmalschutz stehen. Klaus Paier starb 2009 in Köln.
