“Wood Side Gallery” as part of the Krefeld change of perspective under the artistic direction of Fredda Wouters from Kevelaer in coperation with city marketing Krefeld.
unusual art in an unusual place. Under the title “Wood Art Gallery”, 20 artists from Germany, Italy, Mexico, USA, France, the Netherlands, Russia, Ukraine and Great Britain turned nature into a stage for their art objects. Many great street art motifs can be discovered, but also concrete pipes or slab paths become unique art installations on the area around the Krefeld Environment Center. The Wood Art Gallery was created in 2015, but can still be explored on your own today - as long as nature does not take back its “exhibition space”. But be careful: Weatherproof clothing is appropriate, it can get thorny and muddy in between.
Marya Kudasheva was born in Surgut in West Siberia.
She graduated from Surgut State Pedagogical University to become a drawing teacher. During her studies she already worked as an art event manager and photographer.
Today she lives in St. Petersburg and works together with her partner Victor Puzin in their joint art studio "Paint Point" where they create wall paintings or designs for 3D street painting. She has already participated in many international street art events in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria and Latvia.
In March 2016 she started the charity project called “VETKA”. Here she motivates top international street artists to document voluntary art projects around the world and to publish them on a shared internet platform. This is intended to unite artistic forces and to upgrade places that are in need of the common good because of an embellishment. Schools, hospitals and public places e.g. B. should be designed by professional artists and the special power and effect of urban art should be made aware for outsiders and international funding for such projects should be advertised.
