I created this piece for @framewerkbelfast
& @nimhafest on this year's theme - 'Loneliness'. 

This term has different meanings for different people, but one common description of loneliness is the feeling we get when our need for rewarding social contact and relationships is not met. (Mind Website)
This is something we've all been hit hard with in the past year, and NI doesn't have a strategy to tackle loneliness at the moment. 

I was a bit nervous about painting this piece as this is the week of my Dad's anniversary and I always feel a bit all over the place around this time of the year. But I found painting super therapeutic yesterday and I was able to just completely zone out and get into the art which felt lovely ❤️🌞
