Ethnikis Antistaseos Square (formerly Tapitourgio square) was "transformed" with a large-scale work of art. The project borrowed the geometric elements and colors from the traditional carpets and rugs that were once made in the historic refugee carpet factory, which is now a listed building.
This is a collaboration of the company Awesome Athens Experiences with the municipality of Byron, which through urban contemporary art tries to give color and life to the neighborhoods of the city. The work is a creation of Achilles, who had also participated in the Vyronas 1st Street Art Festival.
