During the summer holidays Fred van Essen painted a great wall on the street side of the schoolbuilding of Basisschool Wandelbos. The flowers and plants on the painting are a reference to the core values of the school. The green colors were chosen because of the location of the school, which is very close to nature. The two children symbolize the pupils at school and the children in the neighbourhood. They blow away the seeds of a dandelion. Those seeds stand for the wishes in your life. The seeds fly through the air and they fall nearby to grow again. This way the children are spreading the wishes in the neighbourhood. You also see the process of growing from seed to mature plant. The passion flower stands for the passion in and for education.

Hunting the streets for Street Art Cities since May 2021 in my hometown Tilburg (and on a regular basis surrounding areas) Also trying to update artworks wherever my travels take me.
I have no graffiti background but started photographing some street art at the end of 2017 in the city of Porto (PT) and that is where my love for this artform started.
