This mural shows the struggle for civil rights and the role Abraham Lincoln took in the fight. It's depicts how African Americans culture needed to be woven into the American lifestyle - showing this by those helping to build the statue. Above is a quote for Lincoln's second inaugural address - "With malice toward none, with charity for all."
