La prima opera di #Trap -Trapani Public art . Dipinta nel quartiere popolare di San Giuliano, è un ponte, un punto di contatto, tra Erice e Trapani, da sempre Territori adiacenti che solo la logica amministrativa vede separati.
Ligama si lega al mito e alla storia, rappresentando visivamente la tesi di Butler: dimostrare che l'autore dell'Odissea è un donna trapanese e che i luoghi descritti nel poema siano proprio i luoghi di Trapani.

La rete dei pescatori intrecciata ai tessuti ericini nasconde l’identità di un narratore che può non essere più chi ci aspettavamo.
Samuel Butler forse non ha tutti i torti a sostenere che il narratore dell’Odissea non fosse Omero, o meglio che Omero in realtà fosse una donna.
Perché le donne raccontavano e tramandavano, appuntando tra i nodi dei tessuti le trame delle loro storie.
Molti miti e leggende di antiche civiltà sono arrivate a noi grazie agli intrecci dei tessuti, come fossero codici da decifrare, custodi di narrazioni.
