Aguadeiras

This work is a tribute to as Aguadeiras (water carrying people)
The square currently known as Campo 24 de Agosto was once called Campo de Mijavelhas. There, there was a tank, built in the 16th century, which supplied water to the people of Porto who did not have a pit. 
It was also there that the Aguadeiras suppling theirselves to transported and sold water all around the town.
