David was clearly inspired by the neighbouring Aslan statue. His piece incorporates the existing colour of the box, using this as a starting point for the piece, allowing a savannah-style palette to breathe life into the mythical lion, is emerging from it’s junction box wardrobe. 

This ‘junction box’ piece was painted as part of the Wardrobe Jam, funded by Belfast City Council and run by Seedhead Arts, in collaboration with Eastside Arts.
