This piece was painted around an existing piece of public art, one of a series across the area, and the colour palette was inspired by the earlier work. Due to it’s position on a corner, with witches on one side and wolves on the other, it is possible to stand so that Aslan is visible in the distance on the hill, and the patterns in this piece emanate from the lion.
