No que vejo, ouço

Each street, no matter how crooked or narrow, holds countless stories. As it is impossible to tell them all, Histórias Viandantes decided to pay homage to some.

Walking with voices is a lost ritual in the fishing community of Viana do Castelo. Women of faith were called upon to borrow eyes from the figure of the Lady of Light and see, on Earth, signs in response to difficult questions. They went out to pray through the city streets, armed with divine meaning, and what they saw was then interpreted. Shipwrecks and disappearances at sea were the most common reason for these women to be summoned, but there were others.
