One of the most famous courtyards in St. Petersburg, partly thanks to the large-scale graffiti "Ruslan and the Head", based on the poem "Ruslan and Lyudmila" by Alexander Pushkin, well known and loved in Russia.
Three interconnected courtyards house a whole gallery of graffiti, mosaic paintings and sculptures. Their authors are famous painters, sculptors (Valerius Valery Ivanov, Sergey Varagzin) and students of the Stieglitz Art and Industry Academy. Some of the drawings are dedicated to the heroes of Pushkin's fairy tales, some are created in defense of homeless animals, and some advocate for a healthy lifestyle.
