Artwork created for the 6th BIAM Festival, organized by Collectif Renart.
The festival celebrates artistic practices and mixes styles, techniques, histories, cultures, and personalities through various artistic forms.
Passionate graffiti artist, the Nantes-based Ador, enrolled at art school, where he was strongly advised not to pursue street art.
Eighteen years later, Ador is making his mark on walls all over the world.
A prolific artist with numerous works to his name, he has compiled 18 years of his work in a monograph entitled ‘Olibrius’.
Discreet in life, the artist is anything but when it comes to creating his fantastical characters, with their iconic noses and other oversized features.
Somewhere between caricature and seriousness, ADOR seeks to tell stories, but above all, he wants the story to tell itself.
With freedom as his banner, the artist seeks each person's interpretation.
He imagines his works playing with the public's imagination, each person being the master of the staging according to their own experiences and creativity.
Painting a wall is letting the story unfold. Once finished, the work no longer belongs to him.
You can find the artwork on the corner of Rue Pierre Mauroy and Boulevard JF Kennedy.
