A rare case of the unity of the authorities with an initiative group of citizens brought the first result - the appearance of "light graffiti" dedicated to the famous writer Fyodor Dostoevsky on the wall of the house in Kuznechny Lane in which he lived.
Using the example of Dostoevsky's house, the Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture prepared a concept for the widespread use of light projections on the facades of houses in the historical center of St. Petersburg. Their themes can be different - from portraits of cultural figures to masterpieces of classical fine art and works of contemporary artists.
