A multi-disciplined visual artist from Brooklyn, Vince Ballentine is celebrating a woman who makes a difference, Democratic Rep. Illan Omar. She is a community activist, the first woman of color and one of the first two Muslim women to hold office from Minnesota. She is an advocate for a living wage, affordable housing, universal healthcare, student loan debt forgiveness, among many other causes.
