Street Art Cities

Bijdevleet, real name Tim Bontan, is a designer, illustrator and artist. His main focus is on typography. At the time of painting, during the POW!WOW! 2020 festival, this mural was the largest he had ever created.

The text "We are all a work in progress" refers to both the city and its inhabitants. Ever since Rotterdam was bombed during World War 2, the city has been in constant state of development. Where ever you go, there are always building cranes close by. The same goes for the people living in the city of course. Everybody is always evolving and trying to become a better version of themselves.
