No Name

I ran across these guys painting an unnamed mural on the side of a carwash/tire business at the business's request. It depicts a speedy desert rat ready to make your vehicle sparkle, as well as some stylized calligraphic signatures. This mural is done in the style of the Borderland Jam, a huge nearby work by many artists done during the annual BorderLandJam. (1601 E. 4th Ave) None of the artists today wanted their faces shown or their names used. As a bonus to seeing them work on this, just next to the mural they were working on are two older murals. One depicts a beautiful woman covered in a blue scarf with native beading on her hair and a gorgeous flower over her ear, surrounded by iconic images of the Chihuahuan desert such as the cactus and rabbit. The next one over shows a figure, perhaps female, perhaps a cross between a cat and human, with a head dress and huge hoop earring. The last one is clearly the oldest of the murals.
