Kermit by Salamech

A very cool graffiti in the wall above the Port Marianne Pharmacy that Montpellier artist Salamech did already in 2015. In this wall we see Salamech tag and a cute Kermit the frog drawing. It’s in pretty good shape for a 5 year old wall. I guess its location saved it from being tagged over by other graffers.

Salamech (@salamech_art) is a quite popular artist in a Montpellier, representative of a very vibrant urban art scene. He shares his atelier with other talented Montpellier artists in the Atelier Parcours in the Arceaux neighborhood.
Short Bio (translated from www.salamechgraffiti.com)
Cradled by urban cultures and nourished by an intensive graffiti practice, Salamech offers a universe that comes to life with the energy of the city.
He’s a street specialist, that takes a careful and offbeat look at his environment. He draws his inspiration from everyday life and confronts his feelings with a collective and nostalgic imagination.
Torn posters, metal curtains, billboards, the use of unexpected supports is at the heart of his creation. He transforms this urban material into work where he manipulates contemporary popular texts, lettering and iconographies.
Between words and different materials, colors and overlays, the artist immerses us in a dialogue where signs and imprints of the city mix with the poetry of the moment.
