„Opowieść śródecka z trębaczem na dachu i kotem w tle” ("The Tale of the Śródka with a trumpeter on the roof and a cat in the background")

The mural was unveiled on October 1, 2015. The painting was made on one of the tenement houses at the corner of Śródka and Rynek Śródecki streets, next to the church of St. Margaret. The mural is to remind the history of the district, which was just a separate city a little over a hundred years ago.

The originator of the painting was a local councilman - Gerard Cofta, inspired by a photograph of the fyrtl of the 1920s. The Puenta Artistic and Educational Foundation got interested in the idea, which submitted the concept to the Poznań Worth Center competition. The project received funding from the city.
