This mural is an updated version of a still life painting. Jukka Hakanen took inspiration from surrounding restaurants, the building’s history and the famous mulberry tree that grows nearby (planted in 1780), which can be seen from the garden of the Ocrum house, now known as cultural centre ‘Nieuwe Veste’.
