At the end of March 2026, the design event "10 Pillars, 10 Artists, 10 Pictures" took place in Frankfurt-Ginnheim, in an area beneath the Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße/L3004 overpass and around Platenstraße and Ginnheimer Landstraße.Areas underneath overpasses are rarely places that invite people to linger. Similarly, the front section of this stretch near the "Ginnheim Mitte" subway station is used as a parking lot, while an area further back is used for parked caravans. In between lies the area where several urban art artists recently gathered to paint some of the pillars. According to the local neighborhood manager, the artistic design is intended to transform this space, which is heavily dominated by motorized traffic, into a "place for encounter and exchange" and contribute to the "revitalization of the neighborhood."
