Vinie born Virginie Masson, worked as artistic director of a communication house in parallel with painting. Initiated to graffiti as a teenager, she found her way and her particular style the day she fell on a black doll: slender, lean, big hypnotic eyes with big afro hair. She transforms her through the cultures of her time: hip-pop, pop and the provocative exuberance of her haircut, contrasting with the purity of the seductive features that sometimes make her doll's arrogance forgetful. Accoudée Près du Canal was painted during the Ourcq Living Color Festival.
