From the Instagram of the artist:
What a great way to end the summer and start the new school year with the team from colors_urban_art! 😃
My brambles were once again able to take over walls — this time, those of the Collège Vauban International in Strasbourg.
Here, the bramble rises, twists, and takes over the space. It wraps around the wall like a protective cloak, both wild and caring. Because behind its thorny appearance, the bramble holds another truth: it protects young shoots, while letting light and air pass through so that life can grow. This symbolism resonates strongly in a school: a place where people grow and develop, where they learn to flourish, surrounded but never confined.
For the artist, it was also a personal challenge: her first wall this high, created alone. And she found great joy and freedom in it. Against this deep blue background — Foxe blue, chosen for its soft and enveloping atmosphere — she let her hand guide the drawing. Her small and large leaves emerge from the gesture itself, like a living sketch. The lines are blurred, sometimes grainy, sometimes brushed, as if imperfection itself had become proof of vitality. In this mural, you can feel both the rigor of her grid structure and the intuition of movement. A bramble that climbs, protects, and reminds us that fragility, too, can become a strength.” — bloombee.fr
