Street Art Cities

This mural was painted by Distort for the 2024 SpraySeeMO Mural Festival! It portrays, with it's moody colors and deep contrasts, a little bit of Crossroads and KC history woven together: a place where rails, roads, and lives all intersect alonside imagery of the Steamboat Arabia, Missouri's local cave systems, and even liquor being dumped during prohibition circa the Pendergast Era. Notably, the artist left an old tag by NOVA, a KC graf writer, and incorporated it into his design.
