Wild Wild Waste, Big Trash Animal Zoo

"Wild Wild Waste" is a site specific installation project by Portuguese activist and ecologist Artur Bordalo, know around the world as Bordalo II.
With aims to draw attention to current global problems like unnecessary human wast, production and the commodification of animal habitats, Bordalo II creates what he calls his "Trash Animals"; sculptures built with end-of-life materials like plastics found in wastelands, abandoned factories, scrap yards and dumpsters.
The final product can't be further away from trash, provoking viewers to consider the true nature of humanity for these animals directly affected by the junk used to create his works. #wildwildwaste
