Animalitoland is the visual universe of Graciela Gonçalves Da Silva, an Argentine artist of Portuguese origin and currently living in Madrid. A world of magical creatures that feed on feelings and adopt multiple shapes and colors. In the words of the artist: "We live beset by a darkness that slowly makes us sleep. I think that imagination and sensitivity are forgotten tools that require more training. Connecting with strangers from all backgrounds and cultures made me think of this universal language that we all know instinctively, although we do not necessarily speak every day. " This work talks about the encounters, the experiences we can have with other people and how they mark us. Being true to her style, close to the children's illustration and to the world of animation, she shows us two figures from very different worlds that almost seem to blend in. The work stands out for its color, especially for the high saturation used, which makes it have a great visual impact on the viewer. This work is part of Rexenera Fest 2017, more info at: https://derrubandomuros.gal/ https://www.rexenerafest.gal/
