The Lyrebird Water Tank stands 10 metres high and is at the entrance to the village of Wentworth Falls Village in Bodington Hill in the Blue Mountains NSW. It can be seen thousands of commuters every day as they travel on the Great Western Highway.
Janne Birkner and Scott Nagy painted this water tank in February 2016. At the time, it was the largest mural they had ever done. It monumentalises local flora and fauna with their own artistic spin on it.
It took three days in 30 degree heat up on a 12 metre crane - sanding and spraying and using 50 spray cans and 40 litres of paint.
