The Lockhart Water Tower is the work of two Blue Mountains mural artists, Scott Nagy and Janne Birkner (Krimsone), who are well known artists in the public mural sphere. The artwork on the tower reflects the importance of one of the regions most vital assets - water.
It features a cascading waterfall, surrounded by many of the unique native fauna and flora found in the local landscape.

The tower was completed in just under three weeks in June 2018 at a cost of only $28,000 covering a surface of more than 600m2.

Lockhart also boasts a wonderful display of metal sculptures, scattered around the town and are well worth seeking out.

The local caravan park in town is perfectly located as a base camp and easy walking distance to the tower and many metal sculptures as well.
