Silver Street Studios is the mecca for Houston artist, this place individual studios for artist but it also has an amazing wall full of murals.  Most, if not all, of the murals were done by local artist.  Best part is that it is walking distance to a brewery called Holler Brewing.  So swing by, grab a cold one and take some pics that are sure to make your friends envious.
