In het werk ‘Street Life’ van Alain Welter staat zijn bekende alter ego, de muis, centraal.

Het lijkt wel alsof de muzikale muis zo het podium van gemeenschapscentrum Den Egger op kan lopen. Hij heeft een hele rugzak aan muziekinstrumenten bij zich. De muziek laat gevoelens en emoties op een plezante manier los, terwijl drie roodborstjes er vrolijk op uit vliegen. Deze flierefluiters nemen je mee op reis, al zwevend in een ander universum waar je met je hoofd in de wolken belandt.

Alain Welter's work ‘Street Life’ focuses on his well-known alter ego, the mouse.

It looks as if the musical mouse could walk right onto the stage of community centre Den Egger. He has a whole backpack of musical instruments with him. The music releases feelings and emotions in a pleasurable way, while three robins fly off merrily. These whistlers take you on a journey, already floating in another universe where you end up with your head in the clouds.
