[Tim kan hier nog een zinnetje bij?] The creators were inspired by the mining history of Heerlen. Miners took a little bird underground when mining to detect potential gasleaks. When the bird fell down, it was a warning for the miners to get the h*ll out of there. 

In 2016 this mural won the Wonderwall award during the first edition of the Dutch Street Art Awards. Proud!
