THE ARTIST - Artez is a Serbian artist whose style is defined as a mixing photorealism with illustration. He draws inspiration for his works, besides location, from the things and persons that are present in his everyday life. He usually has a photo of something that inspires him as a starting point, but during the painting process he improvises a lot, mostly because he likes to get inspiration from the site itself.
THE Project: The UKW, the people, the city and lots of art - public and for everyone. UKW - that is a creative explosion of cultures, exporting and importing feelings of home, creating vibrant living spaces and enabling diverse encounters - simply great art from da street to the people..

My work is about the connection between art, city and people - and about public space as an open organism to be played with in creative ways: urban space as a public museum, open to everyone, at any time, without barriers and free of charge. No walls, no doors, no obstructed view - and all that on an international level......
