THE ARTIST - The Argentinian street art duo Medianeras is based in Barcelona; the name translates as "side walls," whitch is what the duo focuses on. The connection between two buildings, and thus also the connection between people and space. Their androgynous figures focus on the essential—the people themselves.

THE Project: The UKW, the people, the city and lots of art - public and for everyone. UKW - that is a creative explosion of cultures, exporting and importing feelings of home, creating vibrant living spaces and enabling diverse encounters - simply great art from da street to the people.
