This mural is called "The chicken rebellion" and is about traditions and respect for animals. Before, it was very normal for events in which animals were sacrificed, such as decapitating chickens in the square, to be held at town festivals. Although today this type of practice has been prohibited, events where animals are sacrificed or mistreated are still held, such as bullfights.
The mural has been promoted by the municipality of Villabona-Amasa and is located on the main facade of the fronton of Amasa. Villabona-Amasa is a small and pretty town located just 20 km from Donostia-San Sebastián, in the Oria River Valley in the province of Guipúzcoa.
Started out hunting the streets in Antwerp, and completely bitten by the 'street art' virus. And the only cure is: HUNT SOME MORE.
I love showing people all the amazing Belgian artists, run street art tours in my city and occasionally facilitate new mural projects.
I love to travel and meet other hunters and artists. So hit me up when you're in town.
