Artwork created for Naaykens' Luchttechnische Apparatenbouw B.V.

Naaykens' is a family business with more than 75 years of knowledge and experience in the design, production, maintenance and replacement of industrial fans, filters and extraction systems for heavy industry.

The building breathes the history of the company. For example, there is a statue of founder Theo Naaykens, a ceramic collage offered at the 50th anniversary and sandblasted art in swing doors donated by staff. In both the plant hall and the cafeteria, previous directors have had murals painted. Current director Geert-Jan Naaykens thought it would be a nice idea to do something extra in the anniversary year as well and opted for an artwork on the outside of the building. Local artist Paul Watty was given a tour in the company building for inspiration and he chose to depict both industrial cyclone filters and a welder at work.
