The battle of Stevensweert
Description
Bij gelegenheid van het 40-jarig jubileum in 2023 wil Amici Insulae de gemeenschap Stevensweert een drietal muurschilderingen schenken. De tweede mural vertelt over de geschiedenis van de stad, het doelt op het gevecht in 1702 tegen de Spaanse bezetters.

The second of three murals which will tell the history of this town, the fortress town of Stevensweert. It refers to the battle once fought in 1702 in this town against the Spanish occupiers, part of the Spanish Succession war.
