“I created this 12-piece mural for ZoWonen in Sittard, Netherlands. The design reflects a story about the surrounding neighborhood: buildings disappearing and, consequently, people moving out—like birds flying out of their nests. An overlapping story is integrated, taken from a poem written by the late Toon Hermans, a renowned local resident. This story also tells about a bird and how people react to that little bird... because it has a broken leg” by James Jetlag
