Urban art upgrade for transformer house in Sittard City Park

This city park is a Dutch national monument and a stunning public space. The dilapidated transformer house of @enexisnetbeheer has been transformed with a nature mural themed “Pond” on all 4 sides.

Originally designed by the late landscape architect Tersteeg as a people’s park, the city park features a characteristic interplay of straight and curved lines. This design language is subtly reflected in the mural, combined with soft green and violet tones. Waterfowl and pond plants complete the mural concept.
