When you leave the station in Sint-Niklaas you’ll be surpised by the colorful hummingbird staring you in the eyes. “I found the environment to be very straightforward and outdated in architecture. I wanted to bring something very colorful and organic, certainly in contrast to the dull and gray corridor of the station. And I enjoy working with animals. Very grateful. When you step out of the station, you are now bombarded by colors” says SMOK. If you look closely, you can see the reflection of a pole and the station building on the other side of the street in the eye of the hummingbird.
