Melissa Moria

Across the road from city hall, the artist created her own interpretation of the official green-white-green flag of her home town of Rotterdam. It's comprised of green and white flowers, brought together by the colors and movements of the city.

This artwork was made possible by the developers of the Edge office building, which is under construction behind the hoarding it is painted on. They started a competition under the name "Show me your (he)art". The winners may display their art on the fencing for a three month period. When construction is finished, one of the artists will be chosen trough a vote to create a permanent artwork in the new building.
