I MEDIANERAS I is formed by Vanesa Galdeano (architect) and Anali Chanquia (arts degree), two women street artists from Rosario, Argentina who currently live in Barcelona, Spain. I MEDIANERAS I is the Spanish word for ‘side walls’. Unlike the walls, which are only responsible for separating the spaces, the side walls are those shared between neighbours. We want to change the way we usually perceive spaces, our intention is to alter the urban landscape of the street.
