Alexis Diaz’s fantastical universe is populated by chimerical but nevertheless impressively realistic creatures. Dotted around the world, his black and white frescoes, whose lines are meticulously traced using small brushes, evoke engravings straight out of old books. Limited by the canvas, which he considers too small and less accessible to the public, Alexis Diaz has found on the walls a space for expression that matches his creativity.
