Peace garden

The Peace Garden welcomes you to this part of town. Okay okay it's actually called the "Welcome Garden" and we can see why - it welcomes people to the boozy little hamlet of Taibach. But with that gorgeous floral peace sign by the brilliant Lloyd The Graffiti we couldn't help (temporarily) renaming it.

The Welcome Garden is run by the Taibach community garden group and they regularly brighten the place up with planters and commemorate service personnel and recently the people of Ukraine. They wanted to lighten up this sometimes shady corner so they approached ARTwalk and commissioned this beauty from Lloyd.

We caught Lloyd painting this - he had a handful of freshly picked flowers from the memorial gardens next door. He used these fresh blooms to paint his incredible peace bouquet ... no wonder they are bursting with colour and life!
