 “The rebirth of the city after the eruption of vesuvius, symbolized by the phoenix. A symbol that is also found on the coat-of-arms of the city of Castellammare di Stabia.” – Daco

Daco started graffiti in the 90s by doing classic lettering, flops and tags, in vacant lots, on trains, on walls, in the wasteland.  Over the years his style has evolved and he was quickly drawn to the WildStyle (complex, almost illegible lettering style). He oriented himself in an unstructured, fragmented style to create a visual identity, a unique and recognizable graphic style. He then deployed his identity in illustrations, with his series of animals "GRAFFAUNE" contraction of graffiti and fauna, with geometric and colorful looks. During his studies at Fine Arts, he was sensitized by the Russian constructivism movement which nourished his work over the years. This inspired his second series which he called "CONSTRUCTION". In recent years, he has participated in many projects: murals, festivals, rehabilitations of Eco-neighborhoods, creation of shop windows for restaurants, shops, paintings for individuals and companies, paintings in schools, media libraries, paintings with social vocations in hospitals and specialized houses, partnerships with clothing brands, auctions, workshops.
