Lidia is a self-thaught artist born in Galicia (Ordes) and loves to represent women, Lidia’s heroines Lidia’s heroines are very different from each other and express varied femininity, accompanied by a sense of loneliness that serves as a background. With this mural she talks about love, in particular loving someone in difficult times. When all is good loving somebody is easy, but the challenge is to love in hard times. Remember those marriage vows, in good times and in bad…. The mural talks about respect for animals and the importance of instilling it from childhood. This particular mural has a detail of a dragonfly from a story that has occurred there. An old woman had asked me if I could paint one dragonfly as a tribute to her recently deceased daughter. For the woman this detail meant a lot to her.
Started out hunting the streets in Antwerp, and completely bitten by the 'street art' virus. And the only cure is: HUNT SOME MORE.
I love showing people all the amazing Belgian artists, run street art tours in my city and occasionally facilitate new mural projects.
I love to travel and meet other hunters and artists. So hit me up when you're in town.
